I just concluded programming IP Trunk between two office locations. When I call using the trun, I got CONGESTION as message shown on the digital phone and the calls cannot go through.

Can anyone help with the solution to resolving this problem?

Thank you.

Check that trunks are assigned in lim where you have ELU32/IPLU board.

Thanks, the trunks are initiated in the LIM where the ELU32 board is.

what version are we talking about? (CADAP);
what firmware are you running on the ELU32 boards (CNBIP:BPOS=xx-xx-xx;)

2 observations:

get that PBX up to date (SP5), ELU32 must have R7A firmware.
what is the version/firmware on the other side?

can you show the setup (on both sides)?

Hello,

The scenario is like this:

There are three PBXes - A, B and C. There is an IP trunk between A and B using ELU32 which is working perfectly. But between between B and C, the IP trunk isn't working. The same configuration used between A and B was followed but it's not working. All the PBX are running the same service packs and the version of the boards are the same.

In any case, the basic configurations for the trunk that isn't working are as follow:

ROCAI:ROU=21,SEL=0110000000000010,SIG=011110121091,TRAF=00151515,TRM=4,SERV=2010000007,DIST=30,DISL=128,NODG=0,BCAP=001100;

RODAI:ROU=21,TYPE=TL65,VARI=00000001,VARO=00000000,VARC=00000001,FILTER=NO;

RINII:BPOS=5-0-70,GRP=2,IP=ipofPBX,MASK=xmask,ROUTER=xgateway,ETHCNF=0;

RIANI:ROU=21,GRP=2,IP="ipofremotePBX",LROUID="B1",RROUID="C1",CODECS=B-C-2-0-4-1-3-5-6-7-8-9-A;

The ADC at both ends is ADC=16061000000002500060000000

ROEQI:ROU=21,TRU=5-1,IP=ipofPBX;
ROEQI:ROU=21,TRU=5-2,IP=ipofPBX;
ROEQI:ROU=21,TRU=5-3,IP=ipofPBX;
ROEQI:ROU=21,TRU=5-4,IP=ipofPBX;
ROEQI:ROU=21,TRU=5-5,IP=ipofPBX;
ROEQI:ROU=21,TRU=5-6,IP=ipofPBX;

Note that the LROUID and RROUID are swapped at the other end, the GRP at the other end is 2 and the IP address configured to LAN specification at the other end.

I see you setup the ELU32 with autoneg settings, is your network switch also in autoneg? in other words, check the switch what speed & duplex has been negotiated.

looking at your config, I don't see anything wrong with it, are you sure you don't have anything in RODDP:DEST=X,IPTOPT=YES ? (I prefer having actual printouts than initiate commands)

make sure you post the printouts between tt tags ( to enable easier reading.

Cheers,
Daddy

Hello,

I was just given a clue that there are routers between the two PBXs at both end. How do I workover this and make the trunk working?

Thanks in advance.

In the configuration of Dest you entered the IP addresses of the registered office to call and the parameter RROUID?
