Everyone I've worked on meridians, but every job I go to everything is configured so I do the MACS. I've been tasked to configure trunks mainly PRI and DISA for the CS 1000. Can some one give me a elementary break down on how to do this. I know you use multiple loads, but can yall help me please with the step by step actions? Please please please

I'm afraid there will probably be no replies as this is not a question but a request for work. I would suggest you hire in a contractor who has done this work. If you are interested our company can help you with this.

I don't setup DISA for anyone. Ya wanna get hacked, setup DISA. Even I'll use it.

Anyway, you'll be there a week and be here every 30 minutes asking questions. Call your local vendor to come in to set it up and give you some basic training. That'll save you all kinds of time and money.

How can I build a new super loop for the CS1000E and use the TMDI card at 0 1 3 or how can I use loop 13 and use TMDI card 0 1 3? How do you get the trks built and the TMDI card activated?
Here are the steps to building a T1 as I know.
1. Ld 17 chg cequ to make DLOP
2. Ld 16 build RDB
3. LD 17 to build D Channel
4. Ld 14 build trunk members is this for analog trunks or PRI or for both?
5. Ld 96 enable MSDL or TMDI how is this done
6. Ld 60 enll loop

I’m missing some small steps somewhere? When I try creating a loop in ld 97 and it ask for the IP address at the IPR prompt it tells me something is already on that IP address.

How can I out adan dch 23 and rebuild it or change the MG_CARD prompt from 0 0 1 to 0 1 3 where the TMDI card is physically located?

I have dch 23 and the system will not allow me to out it in LD 17. Here's some of the print put from LD 22

Guys I'm getting some where I configured trks in ld 14 using new 23 then the system configured all 23 for me.

I can go to LD 60 and do a stat 13 and all channels are idle / DID / VCE with the ch 24 being DCH 23.

The TMDI card is physically located at 0 1 3 and when I built the d channel on accident I put at the prompt MG_CARD 0 0 1 I can' delete or change this. It should be 0 1 3 help?

When I try to out this adan out dch 23 I get sch5589 cannot out the application from MSDL/TIMDI card, as this is the last application

Guys what is the difference between virtual and phantom TN's? Where can I get a good explantaion of this?

This link enables you to learn about most of the features such as trunks, including phantoms and much more in an easy to read format.

Virtual sets are different to phantoms in that they are used for IP only such as IP terminals or trunks etc.

Hey guys I was sent the link below that was very helpful I found the definition of phantom TN's, and will continue to search for the definition of virtual TN's or trunks I'm assuming it means the samething. Configured in software, but no configured hardware.

I found the definition of phantom TN's, but what's the definition of virtual TN's / Trunks?
