Greetings gurus,

I wanted to see if anyone has had luck configuring the new E169 media station for IP Office 9.0.3 and above. I have been reviewing this doc:

and the doc refers to the 9600 series phones SIP set up guide, which I have also looked at. I have made all the connections and entered the username, password and domain field to match what is programmed in the IP Office LAN->VoIP settings as well as user settings, but it continues to come up with "Offline(invalid password)."

Any suggestions or places to start?

I tried looking in monitor to view SIP phone status and I can see the extension in there as unregistered.

Thanks in advance!

hat software level is the E169.
I recall having the same issue and you will need to upgrade it first.
I used an IIS webserver as the IPO cannot do it and the MV_IPTel did not work as well.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Check if there is a pwd under extension > sip extn > phone password field

Thanks tlpeter! I will try that now.

tek2011 - ther eis no password field in the extension tab on IPO, but if the firmware upgrade fixes the problem... we hopefully should be good to go.

Cheers
