I have 2 Bay An routers and want connect these routers back to back. I want to run IP over Frame Relay but I am having a few problems.

Could some one tell me whether this is possible ?
Special Cable ? Does on router act as a switch ? or does it matter

Please help

Thanks

Junkie:

You need a frame relay switch or you need to run the BNX software version from Nortel Networks (formerly Bay). The BNX software allows the router to act as a FR switch. I don't think that AN's can run the BNX software (it runs on the BN platform).

Why don't you just run a PPP link between the two?

jfk
