I'm trying to install a SIP phone on my HiPath 4K.
The thing is, I am currently running HFA phones, and it works perfectly.
but when I try to configure the SIP phones, it requires some parameters on the phone like:
- SIP Proxy
- Outbound Proxy
- SIP User ID
- SIP Auth ID
- SIP Password
- SIP Transport

Another question if I can configure both HFA phones and SIP phones on the same STMI4 Card.

Hello,
For SIP phones you need to make sip subscriber. For example:

ADD-SBCSU:16650,FPP,SIP,1-1-49-121,S0PP,1,1,32,32,1,1,0,0,Y,0,0,,,"SBDSS1",Y,Y,0
,10,N,N,,,5,0,,,,,,,,,,;

Where you can (add/dont add) user id/password/ip.

Another question if I can configure both HFA phones and SIP phones on the same STMI4 Card.

Yes, you can. You need to check your stmi parameters.And remake it how you want.

ADD-BFDAT:13,HG3550&HG3530&SIP,BCHL60,;
CHANGE-BFDAT:CONT,13,HG3550,1,3,; Trunk
CHANGE-BFDAT:CONT,13,HG3530,120,,10; HFA
CHANGE-BFDAT:CONT,13,SIP,40,,10; SIP
CHANGE-BFDAT:OK,13,YES;

ADD-BCSU:IPGW,1,1,49,"Q2316-X ",1,"0",13,,10,10,30,,,0,IPV4,NO,NO;

Great thanks.
but about the parameters:
- SIP Proxy
- Outbound Proxy
- SIP User ID
- SIP Auth ID
- SIP Password
- SIP Transport
They are required to be entered in the phone set(which is not Siemens OptiSet).
SO where can I find the SIP Proxy of my server and what are the other parameters (outbound,etc.)?

You might need to tweak for your needs:
SIP Proxy: IP address of STMI4
Outbound Proxy: blank
SIP User ID: Extension number
SIP Auth ID: blank
SIP Password: blank
SIP Transport: (not sure what they're looking for here!)

Keep in mind, the STMI4 card is acting as the SIP server. Then the light comes on!

HiPath 4000 V5 & V6, OpenScape Xpert V4, Xpressions, Contact Center

Ok, I am trying this.
but when I try the BCSU command, I get the error:

F41: VALUE FOR PARAMETER OPT DOES NOT MATCH THE MODULE OF THE
SPECIFIED PEN

Do not know why, everything is supposed to be configured correctly.
here are my BFDAT:

ADD-BFDAT:1,HG3530&HG3550&SIP
,BCHL60,;
CHA-BFDAT:CONT,1,HG3530,60,,20;
CHA-BFDAT:CONT,1,HG3550,1,1,;
CHA-BFDAT:CONT,1,SIP,20,,10;
CHA-BFDAT:OK,1,YES;

and my card:

ADD-BCSU:IPGW,1,5,79,"Q2324-X500",1,0,1,,
20,10,10,,,0,IPV4,NO,NO;

If you just change bfdat - it wont work.
You need to dell bcsu stmi first, then add bfdat with parameters you need, and add new stmi bcsu, and change it ip/mask with cgwb.

Sorry
I mean when I try the SBCSU command, I get the message

F41: VALUE FOR PARAMETER OPT DOES NOT MATCH THE MODULE OF THE
SPECIFIED PEN

Show sbcsu you adding. Its seems you dont need to add pen. Just try
ADD-SBCSU:STNO=16666,OPT=FPP,CONN=SIP,DVCFIG=S0PP,COS1=1,COS2=1,LCOSV1=1,LCOSV2=1,LCOSD1=1,LCOSD2=1,PROT=SBDSS1;

ADD-SBCSU:STNO=3090,OPT=FPP,CONN=SIP,PEN=1-5-79-4,DVCFIG=S0PP,COS1=1,COS2=1,LCOSV1=32,LCOSV2=32,LCOSD1=1,LCOSD2=1,DPLN=0,ITR=0,SSTNO=Y,COSX=0,SPDI=0,PROT=SBDSS1,PERMACT=Y,INS=Y,ALARMNO=0,OPTIDX=10,RCBKB=N,RCBKNA=N,CBKBMAX=5,HMUSIC=0;

Ok, now I can add the SBCSU, but the SIP phone does not register as well.

Go to web interface/or just phone. Check if its possible that phone can ping your STMI ip.
Then in phone parameters add
SIP adress- your STMI ip adress
SIP id- your sbcsu stno
that's should be enouhg.

Ok I'm trying this now.
but I have a dumb question.
I came across this:

DISPLAY-SIPCO:TYPE=LSNET;
H500: AMO SIPCO STARTED
CENTRAL IP ADDRESSES ( LSNET ) :
-------------------------------------------------------------------
NETADDR ( NET ADDRESS OF THE SYSTEM LAN SEGMENT ) : 0.0.0.0
NETMASK ( NET MASK OF THE SYSTEM LAN SEGMENT ) : 0.0.0.0
IPMODE ( IPMODE ) : IPV4
DEFRT ( ADDRESS OF THE DEFAULT ROUTER ) : 0.0.0.0
CCAADDR ( ADDRESS OF THE CC-A PROCESSOR ) : 0.0.0.0
CCBADDR ( ADDRESS OF THE CC-B PROCESSOR ) : N/A
SURVNET ( NET ADDRESS OF THE SURVIVABILITY NET ) : 0.0.0.0
DHCPV4 ( DHCPV4 ) : N
DHCPV6 ( DHCPV6 ) : N

AMO-SIPCO-111 SYSTEM IPDA CONFIGURATION
DISPLAY COMPLETED;

apparently this is what is causing the problem right?
So what should I do now?

Sorry and thanks

For what are you doing this command?
You got STMI added.(dis-bcsu;)
49 | Q2316-X STMI2 1 A 0| | Q2316-X | 1 -07 - | READY
+--------------------------------+-+------------+------------+------------
| IP ADDRESS : 111.222.333.444

You got sbcsu
----------------------------- USER DATA ----------------------------------------
STNO =16650 OPT =FPP COS1 =1 DPLN =0
MAINO =16650 CONN =SIP COS2 =1 ITR =0
PEN =1- 1- 49-121

Then you go on phone(Gransteam,Yealink, etc)
In phone menu you add ip adress to phone(or he gets it from DHCP). here is example how looks web interface of grandsteam sip phone.

Ok, another problem.
Now I can dial from the SIP set, but I cannot dial it.
And also i get (incoming call) instead of name and number of the SIP set

There are 2 separate sections of settings. It sounds like you have your outbound proxy set up OK, but not the regular Line configuration gateway settings for the phone. Everything there should pretty much be the same as your outgoing settings. The Gateway is the IP of the STMI board the phone is built on, I usually set the protocol for UDP / UDP Only, the port is 5060, the line address is usually your 4-digit extension number, etc...

Sorry for the very late response, I was out of the country.
I think the problem now is misconfiguration in the HiPath, as when I dial the extension of the SIP set, it waits like i am dialing an external number, not extension, and then gives me (not possible) message.

Here is the config.

Well, I see you have a usable STMI config, and it appears that you have your phone on the first SIP Port you have configured. The actual phone looks pretty close to mine - I still suspect it may be related to settings on the actual phone. Here is one of my SIP stations. Some feature settings might be strange because I have it set up for videio, but the basic stuff is all the same....

Code:
