Conference meet me over SCN 1

OK - bit of a complex scenario but let see if you pros can find a solution to this one...

I have a pretty good VM Pro module which now prompts a caller for a PIN, checks it against a database, and then transfers to "6001" which is a short code, not a user or extension, for conference meet me, with telephone number 6001.

This works great, so I built a few more. The issue is, our company has grown large enough to where the PRI is getting used up with all the inbound and outbound calls. Adding more conference bridges to the mix will only use up the line further.

so..

I have 5 sites working nicely in an SCN, most of which have their own PRI's. On an inbound call route, I point the destination to a VM Pro module for a new conference bridge. Only problem is, VM Pro only seems to reference short codes to the IPO that it's directly attached to. (All other IPO's have centralized VM as the voicemail option)

I'd like the VM Pro to be able to transfer a caller to a conference meet me short code based off another IPO.

Anyone see a solution for this?

Make a local code like:

666
Dial
666
Line gp - SCN line to other system

On the other system make 666 a meet me Conf code, so when VM Pro transfers out it ends up at the other system

Probably still a simple solution, but I'm getting a busy tone here.

Here's the setup from the system local to the VM Pro, we'll call system A

H.323 SCN line to system B with outgoing group and line ID 62

System A short code of 6005, dial, number:6005, line gp 62

System B short code of 6005, conf meet me, number:6005 line gp 0.

See any flaws with this?

Just tried dialing 6004 from the remote system and getting busy as well. That's probably the root of the problem. Going to research this further.

Make the tel number of the shortcode something like 110, not the same as an extn or actual shortcode

I think that the problem there is that out of the 5 IPO's I have in the SCN, this is the only one with out a preferred addition license....

Just tested - yep - that was the issue.

In an SCN the systems connected to it get an "inferred" preferred edition licence, i.e you don't see it but you should get all the features unlocked by it...such as meet me conferencing.... unless you have gone unsupported and not used centralised or distributed voicemail on all systems
