Hey there has anyone used or seen an application that could replace the conference centre?

Thanks Mike

We sell sonexus. I have not put it on a IPO yet but dont see why it would not work. it is a lot better than the conference center. I never liked the conference center.

Use oneX Portal! Better than ever!

Help me to help you! Helping each other makes us stronger, smarter!

Now that R6 is out and Conference Centre is no more, has anyone see details on a replacement? What happens to my license, does it just disappear when we move to R6?

I've seen where One-X gives you personal pin #'s for conferences, and you can setup VMPro modules to assist with entering PINs, but I wouldn't call it a complete replacement unless they are ditching the scheduling, application sharing, etc.

Conference Centre has been ditched with no plans to replace it. Apparently they never sold very many (I have 3 out there).

Sadly we just purchased the RFA for it right before the R6 beta.

Ouch. Could you do me a favour and let me know if it still "works" on V6.

Can't think of any reason why it wouldn't...

we put a few in. they never really worked that well. we have some that are behind CM systems hanging off of PRI's and those work pretty well.

+1 on the not working terribly well. The software is clunky at best, I had secretly hoped that it would have been improved in R6, surprise surprise when beta 6 came out and it wasn't there... We just got the RFA order processing thru out slow systems so we'll be making the move to R6 whenever I can actually get a Sunday free to make it happen, I'll post back if it works, I'm thinking probably not.

I have can confirm that it does not work in R6, if you have the software pointed at a box with R6 on it the service fails to start. I have been fighting with an Install stuck @ 5.0.18 that is using conference center and has been experiencing issue's with voicemail not being able to communicate with the service when users attempt to enter conferences. When I was troubleshooting this in the lab I found out the hard way it doesn't work with R6..

The conference center software has been the bane of my existence ever since I first installed it. No customer has ever been happy with it, it has always been buggy, it doesn't work right and never has to my knowledge.

Anyone know how to set up the conference PINs in One X Portal? I am assuming this would allow more than one "meet me conference" at a time, they would just enter the correct PIN for the conference they wanted.
