Hello Everyone,
I have CM 7 only and it's working fine. Our company management need to make one conference call with 20 parties or 2 conference call with 10 parties in each one, with CM7 only i can use meet-me conference with max 6 parties. I read about it and i found that i need AAC Avaya Audio Conference System, if there any other solutions with CM to add more than 6 parties with licenses or it's mandatory to add AAC.
if AAC is mandatory, what is the requirements to use AAC , how many servers needed , i need System Manager and Session Manager or not ?? , if i have CM power user license i can use it with AAC direct or AAC use another license ??

sorry for all these questions, but it's a big problem for me. Thanks in advance.

If you have power user licenses, they might have conferencing included - though that might need the "aura collaboration" class of user.

Yeah, you'd want SM/SMGR if you wanted to do that.

Or, IPOffice can be a cheap simple conference bridge - but if your requirements are 2x10 or 1x20, check how much they'd really use it - why not just pay for some conferencing services and math out where your break even point is going with your own server for that.

Thanks too much .. for where i can get all details for license .. i need a document tell me, if u buy power user u will get ....... , if u buy moderator lic u will get ........ . Document contains compare between lic.

check your sap orders and print what type of user licenses you have

or, check with your rep and see what you bought.

Correct me if I am wrong I heard about enhanced conference license can be installed on the CM will give you 30 party in the con call

News to me. Could be a thing, but I've never heard of it.

We need any confirmation and the license name for CM with 20 parties in the conference ..

No, it is not possible. The avaya answer is below.

6 party conferences is the maximum in 1 bridge call. Customer should consider using adjuncts like Avaya Aura Conference (AAC) to increase the capacity. Both hardware and software.

There is one exception to this where you can enable the system special application SA8893 Blast Conference
This enables up to 8 parties to be included in a conference BUT these are pre - administered endpoints / numbers so this can not be utilsed as a adhoc feature where you can add 8 random parties , CM creates a loop back on a trunk to perform the blast conf if more than 6 parties are required the below link explains the feature.

But to reinforce the answer to your question .. There is no license that enables "enhanced conference" you wil need an external conference unit, to have more than 6 parties in a adhoc conference.

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.
