Hi All ,
Here's the situation...
New comp , (4 months old) , I have a decent quality power supply (Coolermaster Trupower 450w) and a 540J p4 , on a Asus P5GD1 , and two 512MB PC3200 Dual Channel for mem,
It's worked great since I built it , like perfect , not even a hiccup , then last night it just dropped , now i can;t even turn it on! , no beeps no nothing ,If i turn it off at the wall , it will on the first try of starting up spin the fans etc and then shut-off after about 1/2 a second, there is a power indicator LED on the mainboard , so I can establish that there still is power , I checked for bulging caps , and also check all connector on mainboard ,for the switch and front panel etc....
From what I understand a good power supply rarely dies , I sure hope I can get warranty on whatever is dead...
Any ideas/ideers?
