Is anyone using the new Comcast service that delivers a T1/PRI handoff? This is not an internet service, but they use the coax to their headend and then connect to their CO switch. The price is remarkably attractive as they already are delivering way more bandwidth than they need over the coax.

My concern is the double conversion from SIP to PRI in the IAD and then as the IP Office goes from T1 to IP from the end points.

We're running Release 4 on an IP 500 with all IP (5600's) end points.

(They call it Business Class Trunks, see

Most of the issues we see here with PRI and analogue are US providers and the crazy way they present lines through various forms of media conversion rather than just presenting the line correctly, I suspect this will be no different :)
