I often use macros to use combobox to update data within the same form. I use the GoToControl & FindRecord macros.

My question is... How can I use combobox to update data in a subform using macros? Is this possible?

Aximboy,

You can run queries to maniuplate data on the subform, and then perform requeries, but it's really better to get into VBA to starting updating subforms. What specifically are you looking to do?

Hi Patrick,

Thank you for your reply. I have a database of minerals and a subform for their yearly gradation results. My boss wants me to add a previous year's gradation result on the subform so they can easily compare results.
So, what I did was to add another subform (within a subform), so when I choose the year I want to view from the combobox, that year's data will appear on the subform and at the
same time show the previous year's data on the other subform. But for some reason, I cannot connect my combobox to the second subform.
