I used the FAQ - Combo Box - dependant on another Combo Box - and it works great when it is used as a form on its own, however the moment I try to use the form that I created as a subform I get the following prompt for info Forms!Form2!cboManufacturer

For simplicity I have called the main form Form1

Any help on how I should set up the SQL statement or subform properties would be appreciated.

Cheers
Stephen

I surprised you posted without providing the form, subform, and control names. Your answer is all about these values.

Generically, if you want to reference a control on a subform, the syntax is like:
Forms!frmMain!sfrmCtrl!Form!CtrlOnSubform

I just copied the example FAQ to test out the system and kept all field and form names the same, so I did not think I had to post the data.

But thanks, I think I know now what I was missing

Forms!frmMain!sfrmCtrl!Form!CtrlOnSubform
