Combo box doesn't select matching text items

Hi,

I have an issue with database created in MS Access 2016 version.
When I type any text in the combobox it doesn't show the items in the list.
Even Auto Expand property is also selected as Yes.
But if I use it my older database MS Access 2007 it works perfectly.

Is there any solution for this issue?

Can you manually select a value?
Have you tried creating a new combo box on a test form?

Hi,

I tested it by creating new combo box but sometimes it works sometimes doesn't.
Is there any setting due to which this problem comes?
Because when I use it with MS Access 2007 database it works perfectly.
but when I use the MS Access 2016 database it doesn't work.
All coding is same in both the databases.

So, this does work sometimes in 2016? Are you using the same table/query for the row sources? Are you testing on a new, unbound form?
