Hello,
We currently have CM 6.0 installed and are undertaking a project to integrate a 3rd party IVR solution (Voxeo) into this.
We have now involved our Avaya BP as we need them to provide Session Manager (we do not currently have this) and assist with the SIP integration between the two systems.
What has taken us by surprise in our BP's insistance that we have to upgrade our CM to 6.3 as " The existing version of the Avaya CM does not support the provision of the Avaya Session Manager application at its current software version (CM6.0). In order to support the native integration with Session Manager, we have had to propose an upgrade to CM6.3, which we have included".
This does not sound right to us as from what I can see there should be no issues with Session Manager on CM6.0?
Is our BP correct or are they just trying to get more money out of us?
What are the differences with using Session Manager on CM6.0 rather than CM6.3?
Thanks
