This is now the second time I have seen this-I though it was related to the latest CM patch but apparently not.
I am running :
UPDATES:
Update ID Status Type Update description
------------------------------- ------------ ------- ---------------------------
02.0.947.3-17294 activated cold patch 17294 for 02.0.947.3

I just did a fresh burn on our lab server of CM 5.2 and followed the book to the letter to install CM Messaging.
At first the Messaging didn't want to run and then I re-booted CM and revived the mail.
Now the server admin page of the Messaging will not allow me to configure extension length and also appears to have the service port IP locked in as the IP address-the fileds are greyed out and I am unable to edit.

Has anyone run into this and if so what is the solution?
I would rather not do a re-burn.

Thanks all.

This is now done is the "switch link adminstration" near the bottom of the messaging web page, is that what you tried?

This is also where you can set it up to have 12 VM answer ports, and 6 VM transfer/MWI extensions. CMM requires a stop and start to get that working, and also you need to put 18 IP trunks in the CMM H323 trunk group as well.

I can play with the trunk group sttings Mitch but this is administration doen AFTER the "switch link admin" is done.

I will give it a try.

Thanks
