Since we upgraded to CM 6.2, I cannot back up the VAL boards like I used to using VAM 5.2. Also the data modules that used to be on the CM 4.0.5 version, are not there on the CM 6.2 version. Did Avaya do away with needing a data mod for a VAL board?

The thing is I was able to back up the announcements using VAM 5.2 before the CM upgrade.

data modules are gone. Try upgrading to ASA6. Your installer should have left the cd. If not download it. It has an announcement tab on the left to backup your val boards.

I upgrade my ASA to 6.0. I do see the tab for announcements. I cannot find any documentation on how to use this. I clicked on it and I do not get any list of announcements. Does something need to be enabled on CM 6.2 so I can backup the announcement boards using ASA?

Thanks MontyZ!!! I had this at my last laptop and now I'm trying to load it again but my Google searches are just staring at me and not responding or giving me and IE error/page not found/diagnose problem.

Much appreciated,

Don

good news. I upgraded asa to 6.0. And I was able to back up the announcement board that was having an alarm issue. Since that backup, the board has not alarmed for 4 days. I am thinking that may have been the issue? Not sure.
