CM 4.0 S8300 won't see mm760 1

My CM 4.0 Will not see the mm760 in v3 of my G700.
The MGP will see it and I was able to successfully
update firmware on it,; however, I get board not
inserted in CM 4.0. I have tried 3 board 1 white
and 2 gray faceplates, all with the same results.
I added in board in config, but no joy.

Any suggestions?

what MGP firmware do you have installed?
if you are running 27.27.0 try removing this and going to the latest 26.xx version

Firmware recommendations -
23.xx.xx loads for MV2.0 and CM2.1 software versions.
24.xx.xx loads for CM2.2 software versions.
25.xx.xx loads for CM3.x software versions.
26.xx.xx loads for CM4.x software versions.
27.xx.xx loads for CM5.x software versions.

There is also an 27_29_0 for the G700 now, for CM5, you could also try that before backing down to a previous version. You do have an IP address assigned for the MM760? try a "show voip v3" via telnet on the MGP..

Thanks Mitch that was it. The IP on the V3 was transposed. Odd that the switch would not recongize the board with the IP being wrong.
