Closing TCP/UDP ports

I did a netstat -a and I have a bunch of TCP/UDP ports open, I looked up the ports on eventid.net and a couple of them were used for trojan horses, can anyone tell me how to close ports on W2k?

Install a firewall.

I would also run a good up to date virus and spyware checker over your machine to remove the trojan horses.

Thanks for the tips, I have Norton and there are no more trojans, just open ports, I installed ZoneAlarm to close them, thanks again
