I have a 81 and 11 tied together with Tie lines and am confused about clocking between the two. Do I need a clock controller in the 11 and what do I set up in the DDB as far as clocking for the 11? I need the 11 to clock off the 81.
Thanks for the help

81 should be clocking off Telco.
11 should be clocking off 81.

Set clocking to the incoming T1

The 81 is clocking off the Telco, So my question is how do I get the 11 to clock off the 81?

go to ld 60 in the option 11 and type:
SSCK 0 to see where the clock 0 is pointed to. It should be pointed to your tie trunk to the 81

Yes, with a T1 card in your 11C you will need a clock controller card daughterboard.

I have tried all this and Tie Lines just go up and down and then the 11 goes into Yellow alarm. Any other ideas?

Could be the daughter board (clock controller) on the T1 Card in the option 11 is going bad.

What do you get when you you type SSCK 0 in the option 11?
Is it showing the clock controller locked to the loop?

I changed out the Clock controller and when I do ssck 0 I get a DTI061 and Tracking ERR I can put into FRUN and I get no errors. When I bring up loop on the 81 I get a DCH relaese No Response.Loop on 81 is 21 loop on 11 is 1

Look at your T1 card in the Opt. 11c - is the CC light on the card green?

myarberry...you said you are getting dch release are
you programmed as a plain t1 not a pri which has a
d-channel.are you going thru a telco or going thru
your own cable plant.if a local telco is involved
how is it provisioned.

Pri. Not through Telco Just one room to another probably 20 feet.

Question, did you use a cross over cable? Also have you tried LD 60:
ENL CC 0

I am using a Cross Over cable I know that the Clock is enabled. When tracking on Primary CC light flashes,When I put in Free Run CC light steady but D channels start to go up and down.

Just a guess but you havent got CRC switched on on one but not the other?

myarberry...do you have a kentrox or adtran csu's on this?if
not you might want to give that a try or program the trunks
as a t1 not pri.
