Hello all! Would a connection from a 500v2 to a Cisco VG224 analog gateway device require SIP trunk or 3rd party IP endpoint licensing? Thinking one of you has run into this...Thanks! Z

OK--it's SIP trunking to a call manager environment. But the VG2xx parts of such a solution aren't stand-alone (i'm guessing), so re-using the VG2xx components won't be an option. Any preferred/IP Office-friendly pieces to get 16 - 24 analog ports out to a remote location served by a fiber link? Audiocodes? What do you think?

I mainly use AudioCodes since they tend to work well.

They could be connected both with a SIP trunk or as endpoint but I mostly used the later since I like to have each port registered and get status on the user.
