Anyone have any Cisco Phones connected to 3300 via SIP? I have a school that has around 500 each 6900 series phones currently on their Cisco CM. We plan to cut them over to 3300 this summer and would like to save them some money by getting them moved to 3300. I trying to get one phone connected to my 3300 MCD 7.1 but Cisco phones don't have a web GUI even SIP mode. The config must be loaded via XML and TFTP I have loaded the SIP firmware on the cisco phones however I am having problems setting up a CNF.XML that will register the set on the 3300. Does anyone have a template XML or one from their current cisco phones that may be working on a mitel

Thanks a bunch. It worked great. You wouldnt happen to have a sample of your dialplan? Also when I edit the XML with changes, such as time zone and voice DN.... I watch the TFTP server and see the phone "GET" the new SEPmac.CNF but the changes are not made to the phone. Is there something I should do the XML to get the phone to load the fresh SEP XML?

Thanks for the dialplan. I just wanted to make sure it was close to mine as far a layout. Right now my "dialplan.xml" in a on my TFTP server seperate from the SEPmac.cfn and the file name is referenced in the SEPmac.cnf. Is that correct?

Does the Message Waiting Lamp work on your Cisco phone installed on the Mitel? I have tried several different options on the MessageWaitingLampPolicy

Yes I believe they do.
On the MCD check you SIP Device Capabilities for the Cisco's. Set 'Allow MWI Notifications without Subscription' to Yes.

Thanks Sarond for the help I am grateful!!! MWI works great now. Were you able to have 2 line keys register on the same phone? When I press button 2 I get error message on phone that says "unable to create call; max lines have been reached

I have a more modern 9971 IP phone working as of today on MiVoice Business 7.0. Works fine so far.

The Mitel Guy....Do you have lines registered on more than one key/button....If so could you send me a your SEPmac.cnf file so can check mine for mistakes. Thanks
