Folks, I have a CICS w/7.1 s/w
want to use external paging and it worked on the old cabinet, which I replaced due to water damage.
tried prs 24 & 25 the breakout on the AMP where the trunks reside; nothing
sets are programmed for paging (Y)

result: I can't get anything out of the cabinet by using F62; F61 works ok for the phones with a tone burst; tried F60 "Speakers" and "all" as well; I had a butt set listening @the page port...nothing...
I am missing something here......?

Suggestions please?

If you put your butt set on the violet/slate pair of the trunk amp cable and hit feature 62 from a phone and didn't get anything then you have a bad page port.

Guys, kinda what I figured too; however, there is s 24vdc Bogen power supply that was unhooked; I might try setting it on pr 24 and see if I get an audio linkup on 25; I am still trying to find the paging amp too; but having no audio at all on 25 scares me.

If there's a 24vdc power supply then most likely there's a self-amplified speaker that doesn't require an amplifier. These kinds of speakers are polarity sensitive on the power connection. I forgot to mention checking the amphenol to make sure it's fully seated.

Hey Brian, I figured the same about a powered stand-alond speaker as well, and there may be one there, but I know there is a separate 100w amp w/70v line somewhere in the building too....I reseated the amphenol connector last nite...tonite I am going to pull it out completely and see if there are any bent pins or bad connections.....thnaks big guy!

Hey guys, thought I'd let you know it AWS an open pair on the Amphenol plug; thansks for the help!
