Changing IP on MXE Server 1

Hello,

I have a customer who wants the default gateway changed on their MXe server.

Is this done on the APC card in server manager [in web browser] or through putty?

Also is this just a simple change where the default gateway IP is changed, or does the MXe server have to be defaulted?

You should be able to change the gateway through the server manager console

Thanks - so no defaulting to std ip addresses, then connecting directly to the front like on an upgrade?

You will need to reboot afterwards of course but as you are not changing the system IP addresses I am confident that console connection will be OK
I would use Putty instead of the maint port as it has a better graphic experience just SSH to the server manager IP address.
