changeing XPLN 2

Anyone have any idea how to change the xpln? I am changeing cpnd on a set that formerly had 13 characters. The name I am adding has 14 and I get SCH'd when I attempt to add the 14 character name.
Is the item that needs changed something other than xpln?

you can either, so i have been told, put a comma (,) between the first and last name or out the name and enter new name. I usually out and enater a new name

MXLN in LD 95, I always set mine to the max 27. The default is 13
