Hi,

I'm looking for a way for a user to change the PIN on a simple conference bridge which uses conference meet me.

Start point -----> transfer (conference meet me number)

The client wants to keep exisiting bridge numbers and not go with personnal bridge numbers on 8.1 which i know how to change PIN codes on.

IPO: 8.1.61
VM PRO: 8.1

I would use user variables for this, though I recall someone doing this recently had trouble with it, still worth a bash though :)

Ok, could you explain a little deeper into how this would get implemented?

Thanks

If you look at the VM Pro examples it covers setting and testing user variables, if I remember correctly :)

Had a look on Exmaples it explains how it is used however not sure how this would work in the design im looking for?

You can set the variables to anything alphanumeric, even a PIN. So create a module they dial into to set the PIN or give them a hidden option in the existing module to do this. Then test the caller entered PIN ($KEY) against the variable :)

Thanks for this, don't suppose you have this on VM Pro already so i can glance my eyes over it, as im unsure into how this will work?

Thanks again
