change ip office

Hi all,new to ip office,last 16 yrs worked on norstar,nortel.my brother who lives in another state had a partner system for 15 yrs,it had all kinds of problems as of late so he bought a avaya ip office 8.1 setup so he could use 18d telephones.works great but he wants to either use it the 1416 telephones or T7316e telephones.what does he need to do to complete either task.

Just replace them, thats all.

Go for the 14xx and not the T7316e phone which are still limited on the IPO.

ok,great.Do I need to change any cards he has etr cards.w/4 port co's on them.if I need to replace what cards for norstar T7316,and what cards do i need for 1416? do I need to change s/w from partner to norstar.will the 1416 or t7316 run on s/w thats in there now.
