Hello,
I'm wondering if there's a way for a user to change their conference port pin using an auto attendant menu of some sort. I had my own conference module set up in Voicemail Pro that allowed users to store pins on their conference ports (using this tutorial but it doesn't seem to be working now after we upgraded to 9.1. I see the option to set the conference pin when creating a new extension but I was hoping there was a way for the user to change it themselves in case they ever need to change it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I always use the variables for this. But then you need VM pro.

If you built your bridge like the tutorial says, the bridge's pin is stored in the Users Source Numbers, as the Pxxx number, not in the Conference PIN field on the User tab.

Your users access the conference system (the tutorial uses *83 as the shortcode to the conference module), then dial *7277 (*PASS). They are prompted for which conference they would like to set a password (their own extension number), then for the current PIN (just # if currently blank), then the new PIN, then it is read back for confirmation.

If that *PASS portion is not working, check your actions in menuSetConfPassword

I did build the bridge exactly like the tutorial said. I set up the pin under source numbers and everything. Like I said originally everything worked perfectly fine with the conference ports and the pin numbers until we upgraded to 9.1. Now randomly some of the conference ports will not recognize the pin numbers assigned to them. Nothing has changed that would cause that to happen. It literally makes no sense. I saw that 9.1 had a new feature where you could assign a conference pin with the User profile without having to use the PXXXX source number so that's why I was hoping there was a way to allow a user to change their pin through that way instead.

Basically I'm wondering if there is a way I can access that PIN (the new PIN not the PXXXX PIN) through Voicemail Pro so I can allow users to change their PIN whenever they need to.
