Dumb question, but after installing my Office 2000 on my Win 2K system, my Outlook 2000 came up displaying a 24 hr clock.

I have searched the forum and found nothing.
And I have searched Outlook's Help file and was unable to find an answer.

Can someone tell me how to change Outlook from a 24 hr clock to a 12 hr (AM/PM) clock?

My workstation is using 12 hr clock, and I'd like to be consistent.

Thanks,

On the Outlook Bar, click Options.
Deselect the Display 24-hour Clock check box to have time displayed in 12-hour format rather than 24-hour format

"On the Outlook Bar, click Options"

I wish it were so easy. I looked.

When I go to the Outlook top menu | Tools | Options, I am not seeing anything quite as simple as you say.

I see a number of tabbed screens
On the Preferences Tab screen:
Email Options
Calendar Options
Task Options
Contact Options
Note Options
Other Tab screens each have their own settings.
when I have gone into them I have not yet found a 24 hr check box.

If anyone has some other advice, I would welcome it.

Thanks,

I just looked at all the optiions/prefs in Outlook 2002, and saw nothing like carr described either (unfortunantly).

Sorry...lost totally contact with reality for a moment.
outlook inhereits its time from your OS.
Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Regional Settings, Time tab. Make sure time is set to h:mm:ss tt...

From what I have seen there appear to be two user interfaces for Outlook 2000.

In one of them under Tools you will see Accounts....
And in the other one you will see Services....

I am not sure if this is the difference between Corporate and Personal or not. And, if so, I don't know which is which.

But, regardless, what I described above in the Tools | Options is what I see.

Any suggestions on where to look to change the clock?

Thanks,
