I am trying to change a 7406D ext 308 to an 8410D. When I hit enter it says "Error encountered, cant complete request". I also can not remove ext 308 as I get the same msg.

I have tried to busy the station, xport it, move it to a new port with no luck. I can add a new ext and make it a 8410d. The system is an Avaya G3siv12.

Have plenty of RTU's. When I do a list history it show the following ewrror: EECCR -10009, when I display alarms I dont see anything against the ext or port.

Help,

I have never seen this type of errors on trying to change sta type.

Thanks,
MB

You have software corruption and will need to open a ticket with Avaya

Hardware Platform? Definity / CM software version?

A Software Corruption engineer can help you with that. Avaya may not help if you do not have maintenance with them.

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"
Avaya. Too little or no help? Expensive?
