I have a 5360 IP phone that needs to CFB internal/external & CFNA internal/external to a cell number. The numbers are programmed in the Call Forward on the phone, but not activated. The Call Routing is set to ring until answered/no First Alternatives. In Maintenance Commands and you 'Locate Feature Extension', it shows CFB internal/external & CFNA internal/external numbers, but not activated. If you call the phone (I did it internally) it rings 6 times then hunts/forwards to cell number. If you 'Activate' the Call Forward' and call (again I called internally) it immediately follows the hunt/forward. Is this Call Forward Number programmed through the Controller or at the phone? The COS is set up and shared over several branches. How can I make this phone only ring 3 times on a Busy/No Answer before it goes to cell phone? Thanks!

re ==> 'Locate Feature Extension', it shows CFB internal/external & CFNA internal/external numbers, but not activated

Nope - Locate Feature Extension ONLY shows active features.

If you want to see forwarding that is set but not activated this can only be done through the Call Forward Profile form.

For part 2 of your post, when you "activate" you are most likely activating the Always Forward option.
