I recently upgraded to Win98 and now my cd's (MUSIC/SOFTWARE) wont Autostart. I always have to play them via start/programs/multimedia etc. someone mentioned diassociating the cd player and readding it. How do I do that?

Do a right click on my computer and go to the devices tab.  Click the plus by cd-rom drives and select the one that is there.  Click the properties button and check to make sure that the auto insert notification box is checked.  If that doesn't work you can try to remove the cd-rom drive by selecting it in the device manager and clicking remove.  Reboot your computer and it will find it again.  Let me know how it turns out.
