I have a Sony CD-RW CRX175A1 on a Intel 2.0 with 500 Ram and WinXp Home edition. After installing different burner software, like CDRWin, Discjuggler, EAC and CloneCD the burner door wont stay closed and recognize the cd, so I can't read or burn any cd. My question is, how do I get back to the original stage where the pc was functioning perfect? I've tryed a role back, uninstalling driver update, removing the new burning software, removing what trace I could find in the registry of them and removing the cd in the hardware tree. The burner gets recognized when I restart and installs, as it should, but still the door opens before it can read the cd. I would like to avoid a reinstall of windows or a format if possible, so I hope there is someone that has a suggestion that will solve my problem.
Thanks in advance,
Dennis
