CDR Troubles: Garbage in if no USER:SCH on TTY 1

Hi all,

need some guru's help.
got: M1 Opt11C v.25.15
got problem:
when I remove SCH from USER prompt, then start receiving only garbage instead of CDR records from PBX, when set SCH back, normal behavior returns.
problem is that I don't want this port to be SCH port, only CTY and TRF.
any suggestions???

The user name you put there is only what it outputs not who can use it, if a port is SCH only you can still do maint.

BTW, why that happens? seems it is a BUG.

!. Are any of your other tty ports set for SCH?
2. If so what is the BPS set for?
3. Is it slower then 9600?
4. If they are set slower, that is why it works when you
put SCH on that port because when there more than one
tty device with the same user it uses the slower speed.
5. change the speed of the CDR port to match the other ports

If you have multi user turned on SCH will create no additional messages.

With sch you can talk to the port at 8/n/1
Without sch change your equipment for 7/e/1

There is a patch (I can look up if you need) to allow 8/n/1 whith just cty.

You said it now works, but you didn't say how you fixed it, I'd like to know.

You need to instal a patch in your system. The patch number is MPLR07613. This patchsets the parity on a non SCH tty port.

ace: Reusser gived the solution. I've changed port parameters. Now I'd like to try the patch. After installing, will say.
