I have an Option 11 that I have "front ended" with another switch. I have a trunk route that is two T1's connecting the two switches. The option 11 has analog trunks in another route that all outbound traffic is routed on. When a station on the 11 dials an extension in the other switch it is routed over the T1 route.

I have CDR set the exact same on both routes. I get CDR output on the CTY port for any call on the T1 route but no output on the local analog trunk route.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I have been working on Nortels since Rls 1 (my certification was from March of 1983) but not a lot in the last 8 years. I didn't know if they added some kind of CDR controls in other LD's? I even reloaded the switch! I get CDR fine from RDB 49 but not RDB 9.

Make sure that the programming on the COT trunks does not have SUPN YES, people mistakely think that on a COT trunk
that the SUPN (supervision) prompt is for disconnect
supervision when it is actually for answer supervision.
If you have SUPN YES then the pbx is waiting for the CO to
send back an acknowledgement that the call was answered.
Then the pbx will output a CDR record for that call when
it terminates. Hotels sometimes have their trunks provisioned that way so that their call accounting system
doesn't send a call record to the PMS system on a call
that was made but no one answered the call thus charging the guest for an incompleted call.
