Can you have multiple CDR Outputs and an S8700?
we currently have one cdr platfrom that is trasported via IP on a CLAN. we are migrating to an new platform and would like to run simultaneous CDR outputs.

The ch sys cdr screen only allows for 1 (CDR1 or CDR2)
thx

You can only have 1 expanded CDR Output. The CDR 2 will be have to be customized, int-direct, int-process, lsu, unformatted.

Expanded is supported via IP. Not sure how the others will work.

But to answer your question - I believe only 2 outputs.

Thanks,
CJH

Quick question as a followup.
We have an S8700 that is currenty using a call accounting system. This is being transported via IP to the chase IO Lan server (terminal services). We are installing a new call accounting system and i need to run them side by side until we fully covert over to the new system. I go in the system parameters form on teh pbx and it only allows one collection outpoint. Would love to be able to just add another CDR collection via ip to the new call accounting system. any help would be great.

you can have two CDR outputs, i tested CDR2 with netcat and works fine. I believe CDR2 does not have a buffer on the PBX but CDR1 does.

when you ch sys cdr, only when you put an entry in "secondary output format" does the cdr2 appear.
you also need to add cdr2 to "ch ip-services" and add the call accounting ip to the "node names"

I've had two servers pulling CDR from the same G3r v 9.5 - the first CDR was set to expanded and connected with a data module. The second CDR was done via CLAN and, as 98converter stated earlier, had to be set to customized.

Which call accounting package are you using? I pulled a decent how-to guide from Avaya on setting up connectivity to my package (PhonEX from MindCTI).
