We just set up three new routes on our switch, and we noticed that we were not getting call data on the new routes.

I went to ld 16 to change the CDR option to YES on the three routes. I checked back later and noticed that they were showing NO for CDR. I made the changes again. We thought that it might need to wait for a data dump to make the change. I checked back the next day and all three routes show CDR as NO again.

Is there another setting I need to check or change? We have other routes that are set up for CDR and they are working fine.

In LD15, check your CDR_Data.....Prt CDR in ld 21

Here is what I see when I print the CDR in ld 21:

REQ: prt
TYPE: cdr
TYPE CDR_DATA
CUST 0

TYPE CDR_DATA
CUST 00
CDR YES
IMPH NO
OMPH NO
AXID NO
TRCR YES
CDPR YES
ECDR YES
BDI NO
PORT 3
BCAP NO
CHLN 0
FCAF NO

Ok, in your routes then the CDR should be set to yes and then you'll get a port prompt, set that to 3.... it should work like all of the others...... 3 is the printer port that is hooked up to collect cdr

I tried again after reading your post. I get to the prompt for CDR and type YES. The next prompts are:

CDR yes
INC
LAST
QREC
OAL
OTL
VRAT
MUS
EQAR
FRL
OHQ
OHQT
TDET
TTBL
ATAN
PLEV
MCTS
ALRM
ARDN
And then it drops out to the REQ prompt. I don't see anywhere I would put the port number.

ok, then maybe you dont need to enter the port, but it is set up already in LD15, you're sure the printer is working??

I can see data that we are collecting from other routes. I can't seem to get these three new routes to work. I make the change, but it doesn't stick.

ok, so you chg the route to cdr = yes and it wont go? what is the error??

It doeesn't give me any errors. I make the change, it looks fine, and then I print the route and the change isn't there.

So you don't get a error after you enter yes on the CDR prompt or after you hit the end of all the prompts in LD 16.
Then something is possibly corrupt.
You might want to try to INI.

I've never seen that one.... There are no limits to routes that you can collect CDR on, are you sure that after you chg cdr to yes, you aren't **** out of the load, you need to return all the way through

You need to answer yes to a few more prompts in LD 16 on the new routes. Print out an existing route with CDR in LD 21. Look at the prompts under CDR.

CDR YES This is a gate opener
INC YES Incoming calls
LAST YES Print content for redirected calls
QREC YES ACD Q initial connection records
OAL YES Outgoing calls

Look in LD 16 for response information.

That did the trick, BillCorv! Thanks to everyone for the help!
