CCR User account

Hello all,

I have recently taken over a CCR system and the person who adminsters the system there has an error where they have deleted a supervisor account and now the supervisor account cannot be recreated as it says the email address already exisits in the system.

ANy help apprieciated.

have you tried creating a new Supervisor account, new name etc?
 
Yes I can create new accounts just not for the account that was deleted as it says the email is already in use....

The supervisors used to have seperate accounts for supervisors for agent and supervisor because on log in they did not want to select which role they logged into.

When CCR was reinstalled by previous support they created all the supervisor accounts with the same username as the agents so now they get a choice of role to log in as.. They do not want this and want it back to the original way.

So they deleted a supervisor account and now cannnot recreate as email is in use.

I am quite green on CCR as need my ACSS!

There is an exe file in your`e programe files/ ipo/ ccr folder that allows you to change the admin password try that sorry im going from memory and cant remember the name of the file buts it obvious when you see it , then clear youre error logs in event viewer, Application and System logs,then if you can log on as an Administrator after running the file modify the Administrator account same details you put in the exe file , then restaert the service from the Admin screen.

I know this does not sound like it applies to supervisor accounts but CCR is strange and wonderful , give it a go and post results.

I can log in as administrator no problem and create accounts and delete all ok.

Its the actual creation of the delteted supervisor account that is the problem.. its the email is stored somewhere else and is not being flushed once the supervisor account has been deleted even with a reboot..

I know CCR locks the licences however you can see these locked and a reboot does free this...

Ok understood , in services stop the CCR services from top to bottom then restart bottom to top and give it another go, if that fails and you truly cant find the email address anywhere in the system i would go for a reinstall of ccr but just run a repair , it will keep all youre settings and hopefully fix youre issue ...ahhhh the wonders of CCR.

Yeah starting to learn CCR is a bit Humm...

Could you just clear this point up for me though..

I am lead to believe that CCR links in to the PBX. You select which users are CCR agents from there.

Supervisors are created from the administrator in CCR/webclient.

Can it pull email addresses from the IP500 ?

Although in this case there is no voicemail to emailed populated.

You are correct in your logic and yes ,

you can put email addresses in the ipo but this is for vm to email , im 99.999999999999999999% sure that ccr has nothing to do with the email address under the user and pulls no info relating to ccr other than the user has the correct ccr protocols in place that you have already stated..

That being (office worker -power user) also is there not under the user telephony /supervisor settings a ccr agent tick box , sorry im working bind on the wifes pc with no reference, oh...plus they must be in a CCR group if you have all the user settings in place , try the services suggestion first and go from there.

revisiting this.

We have upgraded the CCR and this user still has the same issue.

In the supervisor accounts window there is no account with the registered email address in question. However when I try and create or change an account to use the correct email address it says that the email address is already in use!

Never got to the bottom of this in the end I created a work around. I created an alias in exchange and made the CCR email to the alias and scheduled reports are now recevied.

Still do not know where the old email address is stored!
