I´m have a problem sending messages to the wallboard from the Supervisor/Scheduling view. I get "Instant message failed" when trying. The Wallboard in itself works as expected. Anyone had any similar issues?
Yes, thats true. I figured it was something like that at first, but that is not the problem here. They just started using the function, and it worked at first but not anymore. Will try to reboot the whole system when possible.
I´ve looked a little further into this, and it turns out that the "Resetting web services" scheduled task seem to be what causes the daily messages from working the next day. If they log out the wallboard and log in again it seems like it works again, but before then the messages return "failed".
You can look in windows event viewer for application and system errors that may contribute to the issue.
You should see the CCR scheduled maintenance events and may see some unexpected errors.
Thats where I found an error at the time the "Reset Web Services" task was run. I don´t really know what to think about it though:
