CCMA ODBC error when running Historical Report

Hello,
I have a CC 6.0 customer with coresident setup (CCMS/CCMA) and out of the blue they start getting ODBC error when running report. They also question validity of numbers in report since their CRM shows different numbers. The server is patched to the current, rebooted. Checked Nortel Solution Search, couldn't find anything. The error is below
"-2147467259:[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.:Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers"

Well, using the wrong ODBC driver. If your connecting to the CCMS database, you need to be using the Sybase ASE driver.

Where are they pulling these reports from? The standard canned Historical reports in CCMA? or through a direct ODBC link to the CCMS?
 
They are pulling standard canned Historical Report in CCMA, who used to work until two days ago. How do I set up correct ODBC driver?
 
How weird. If sounds like these historical canned CCMA reports started using the ODBC Access driver. Let us know what you find out.

Ok, well, first in IE, I would click on tools, internet options, and click settings button in the Temporary Internet Files section on the General Tab.

When Settings pops up, click view objects.

What version of Crystal ActiveX Report Viewer Control is installed?

Next list your current CCMA & CCMS patch levels.
 
CCMS/CCMA patches are current, whatever is listed on ESPL.
Regarding Active X controls, there are none. Folder C:\WIndows\Downloaded Program Files has only one entry, WUWebControl Class while my lab CC 6.0 has multiple files. Aren't those controls should be downloaded when CCMA session is active?
The customer also complained about IE session freezing and IIS had to be restarted. Thanks for your help
 
Install ActiveX_Controls.msi on the client machine, make sure all the IE security options are set correctly.

If there is no Crystal viewer in objects, you will not get historical reports.
 
I do get Historical Reports, with ODBC error. How do I download Crystal Report Viewer in objects?
 
ActiveX_Controls.msi was installed as part of CCMA SU05S installation. I reinstalled it, didn't help
 
ActiveX_Controls.msi goes on the client PC's, not the CCMA itself.

1. Have admin rights on the CLIENT PC
2. On the Client PC Have the CCMA web address in Trusted Sites List, with Require HTTPS box unchecked.
3. On the Client PC, make sure the security in the Trusted Sites Zone is set per Nortel's specs. (Basically enable everything in the Zone Security config).
 
That is all done, the problem happens on CCMA server as well as on client side. It seems I will have to reinstall CCMA to fix it
 
Don't just reinstall yet.

Go to x:\Program Files\Nortel Networks|Wclient\Apps\
Right click on Common Icedb folder
Add authenticated users full access to the Icedb folder


 
Are there any PC's in the company that can run Historical reports?
 
Do a search for *.mdb files inside x:\Program Files\Nortel Networks|Wclient
Make sure that all folders containing any .mdb files have authenticated users added with FULL access and that none of the folders have any "unknown" users.
 
Which historical report are you trying to open? Can you post it here, the actual name of the canned historical report which produces the error. If all of them do, any one report name will do.

All folders containing 8.mdb files have authenticated users added with full access, none of them have any unknown users.
The problem is related to report in Agent Performance folder, all other reports work fine, thanks
