Hi,

I am trying to use my clients SQL server 2000 Sp4. they use sql authentication and i don´t have acces to sa.

I created a user and granted ownership over SDX. I set this user to the CCC using the CCC Reporting Admin Console but it doesn´t work. I cannot find any entry in the database.

Also, the reporter says that sa login is not succesful, where should I Change reporter user and password?

Please Help!

The in-built CCC V5 Archiver interface in Delta Server, will not allow you to connect to an external SQL server. Only MSDE or SQL installed on the Local CCC Server.

In order to resolve you need to do the following

Install CCC with MSDE as per the Instructions
Confirm that Archiving is working correctly via MSDE to SDXArchiver Data base on the CCC Server.
Copy The SDX Archiver Database and Log file to the SQL 2000 Server and Attach Setup permissions on the SQL Server data base for the logged in user on the CCC Server you NT Orth not SQL.
In Delta Server untick the Launch Archiver at Start up Option. This will stop it archiving to MSDE
Go to your ODBC settings on the CCC Server and Create a System DN using WIN ort to the SQL server and confirm all tests pass OK
Launch the old manual archiverSQL.exe (The V4.0 way) located in the CCC/Archiver Directory
Connect to Delta Server and SQL from the menus
All should now be working OK.

Note the CCC Server Must remain logged in same as CCC V4 other wise archiverSQL.exe will stop and so will archiving to the SQL Server.

Hope this helps many of our clients wish NOT to have another SQL server installed and so we have configured the above many times.

Let me know how you go

Thanks Mr IPO,

I asked to install directly where the database.
So I am installing on W2000 SP4 and SQL2000 SP4

I installed the CCC but a message showed when installing: something about "error creating the schema" "must declare the variable @dateon" I followed installation and everything seems fine, but still cannot find entries in the database.

I created a database user with SDXArchiver as default database and permissions to do everything. Tested it with SQL authorization using sql query analizer and it worked. also tested it with CCC database administrator an it worked. then I set this user on CCC Reporting Admin Console.

the reporter can access DB, for example mediatypes options shows call, email etc and this information is retrieved from mediatypes table. When I use the reporter to retrieve Agent names or trunks or groups it always shows "there are no values to select from" instead of the agents, trunks, etc

the delta server works fine. it shows no error. The events shows that it sends messages to the Archiver when a call is received by an agent.

CCview works fine.

any idea of what is missing???

I copied the store procedures from another CCC an now it is working fine.
