Hi to all
I'm new with E2K7, it look like very different from E2K3.

After new installation I simply can't send out email from SMTP connector (send connector in 2007) - the messages rest in queue with no error in log

I verified that DNS resolution and internet connectivity are ok.
Also i tryed to send a message from telnet connection: after the command MAIL FROM I receive the message: "530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated"

Were I can check AUTH parameters?

thank you all

Set-ReceiveConnector -Identity "Default <ServerName>" -PermissionsGroup "AnonymousUsers

Actually, you need to include all the options you want, or you'll break it in other ways:

set-ReceiveConnector "Default servername" -permissiongroups "ExchangeUsers,ExchangeServers,ExchangeLegacyServers,AnonymousUsers"

Hi
.

The rcpt to line needs to be a valid Exchange account! You'll need to check the connector properties allow telnet initiation from the box you are using.

Hi Zelandakh, I arleady know the basic SMTP cmd you suggest, but without check "Anonimous Users" i receive the message:

530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated

maybe there are some others SMTP cmd to authenticate in telnet session....

tks
