I admin a LAN which consists of an NT 4.0 server, about 15 Win 98 machines and five XP machines. Everything runs smoothly except for one little problem:
I have one XP machine that can't see past the router. I can ping everything up to the router from this machine, then, nothing else will resolve. I can use the other XP machine in the same room with no problem.
The router is handling DHCP and has assigned the machine an IP, gateway, and subnet mask (just as it has for the rest of the network). I can access all of the local resources (there's an httpd running on the server) without a hitch.
Any ideas as to what may be misconfigured? Did I miss something obvious?
