Hi All.

I wonder if anyone has run into this issue, and has a solution.

I have a IP Office 500 v2, R9, with an essential license only.
When I go to pull off the inventory file, I get the message:

There is some problem with the data fetching.

I have rebuilt the SD Card, tried with a number of computers, and even with a computer that will pull the inventory off of a similar system, I get this error.

I thought it might be a java issue, but since a computer that WILL work on another R9, I can't get the inventory file. The page doesn't load.

Any ideas?

Regards

What browser have you used?? I always use firefox and don't have any issues?

ACSS (SME)
APSS (SME)

I've seen that every so often. If you go into Embedded File Management and then Upload System Files, that usually takes care of it.

IE will cause issues. I have seen issues with chrome as well. try a different browser first and see if that helps.

Hi Guys.

Found the issue, if you will.

In answer to some of the above questions (in no specific order):

1) I tried with multiple browsers and different computers with the same results. The error.
2) As part of the standard operating procedure, I had uploaded the system files before releasing the unit to my tech.
3) I recreated the SD Card, and then had the tech test with his computer. He had the same issue.
4) I had the tech bring the control unit back to me, and with my non-corporate computer I was able to connect and pull off the inventory file.

Interestingly enough, I tried with the computer that succeeded before rebuilding the card, and it also failed.

So the moral of the story is if you follow all of the excellent ideas presented above, rebuild your SD card (per Avaya procedures), and hopefully all will work.

Thanks for your time, ideas and efforts.

Regards
