Anyone have any ideas why one station can't pick up a parked call?

Thanks,
Westley

Does it have an intercom button?
what type of phone?
Do you get an error message- what happens.

Are you doing a "Directed Pickup" or a "Group Pickup" ?
If Group, that phone has to be part of the group.

Should be able to pickup at any station with a functioning Intercom key

Is it possible this set is primed to an outside line? Hence when you pick up the receiver you have dial tone from outside not an intercom path.

Turns out it was a user error.

She swore she knew what she was doing and when you watch what she was doing, she didn't have a clue. She was pressing the Park button to try and pick up a parked call.

Jeez, this office drives me batty at times.

Thanks to everyone!

User error, there's a new one... :)

I'm wondering why that wasn't checked first, before posting.
User error seems to be ignored in favor of something being wrong with the system or phone.

Part of being a quality service professional is being sure of how things work. On this forum we assume proper user proceedures are followed and checked BEFORE weird and whacky troubles are posted.
