Ticket was originally that the system administrator at x102 was unable to log on and make password changes. Rebooted the NVM which resolved that. But they’re also having a problem with their NVM logging into mailboxes from their own phones, but not others.

For example… someone at ext 123 is unable to access their voice mail from their own phone. So ext 123 cannot access mailbox 123 – it will come up as MBOX locked. But when they try from any other extension – they can access it without any problems.

Not sure if there may be a corrupt database or anything – but went through the books and talked to another tech with more mileage on these systems than I do. Any ideas? Corrupt database in the NVM or something? Or are we looking at a total rebuild of their NVM?

System is a MICS with a NAM... didn't think to get the software release while I was on site.

Thanks!

Ugh... that wasn't the answer I was hoping for, but I appreciate you taking the time to write. If I back the system up - if there's corrupt data on the hard drive now, will that mean I'll have a bad restore too?

Someone else had the same problem but no solution...
