Hey guys ,plz help me ,when I dial 9 to make an external call I can force the authorization code ,but if I dial 9 and wait for a dial tone then dial ,I can't seem to force it. Its been bugging me for the pass 2 weeks !!!
I know nothing about analog trunks as we don't have them here for years now.
And I know nothing of your national/international numbering plan.
Knowledge of both is needed to give you a solution, but I think this happens:
You have a shortcode 9N,N,dial,50:Main and a shortcode 9001N,001N,dial,50:Main force auth code ticked
Now if you dial 9 and just wait then when the system dial delay time has completed you are send to ARS and you'll get dial tone and can dial any number you like.
So you should avoid that.
My country national and int dialing plan is 2XX,(nat),001(int).....to confirm your explaination ,I shoud increase the delay time ? Cause the users are accustomed to waiting for the 2nd dial tone. Thank you
I have on occasions depending on service provider experienced when force authorization code was asked to be entered before or after
entire desired number has been dialed on both Analog trunks and Digital T1 / PRI ISDN trunks.
Solution many times is adjusting dial delay time.
