hi, everybode,
i encounter this issue that i make patch for CM R5.1 systerm. then the system prompt:
i use update_unpack 01.1.415.1-16402.tar.gz
that prompted:01.1.415.1-16402.tar.gz already unpacked.

i use update_activate 01.1.415.1-16402
that prompted:
01.1.415.1-16402 is not in the correct state(state=packed)

how can i do ?

type md5sum 01.1.415.1-16402.tar.gz and compare the return value to the website and see if the patch is corrupted on upload

thanks Mrjedi, i will try it .

but the file that i upload . i was use another account to upload it . it's not 'dadmin'.

doesn't matter. You just need to check if the md5sum number
6b3c83d0ac142142e6601b559acb6031

hi, Mrjedi, i have tried it .
but the result is normal .
the md5sum number is same with publish of AVAYA.
any other advice ?
urgent!!!!!!!!!

thanks!

have you tried to remove it and reload the patch again ?

yes , i have tried to remove and reload it .
but when i make update_unpack that the prompt is also same with ago.
if can to find out unpacked file or directory. and then remove them??

The message may be deceiving you. Are you logged in as a super user? Try sudo and log in again before the activate.

Could you give us a printout of the following file?
"cat /opt/updates/update-info"
if the patch shows unpacked, you will need to get Avaya to fix or or re-image the server again.

Hi,
Just only have "01.1.415.1-16402" folder!
not have "update-info"
