Can somebody Help me Avaya sends calls to voice mail 1

Can somebody help me please. We had a power outage. When power came back on. Our Avaya partner reset itself. I try setting it up and spend 5 hours playing with the system. When somebody dials our number it goes directly to the receptionist to extension 10. (your call been transferred to the receptionist). What do I do.

I am assuming you did't have a backup card? Or your not using R7?

When someone calls your line, does the caller hear anything? or does ext 10 just ring?

Sounds like you have your system set to o rings. Are you using a Auto Attndant? Or are you wanting your phones to ring at the extensions?
 
we have 10 phones. When i dial from my cell phone it only goes to extension 10. How do I change rings?
 
Ok, couple things here.

First let me point you in the direction of some important information. You can access any of these features by going to ext. 10 and hit feature 0 0 and the left intercom 2 times. That will put you in system program mode.
Once in system program mode, you need to check a few things.
Use VMS Cover or Automatic VMS Cover (#310) to redirect the extension’s calls on owned lines to the voice messaging system.
Use VMS Cover Rings (#117) or (#321) to specify the number of times a call rings at the owner’s extension before it is sent to the voice messaging system.
 
I found that website. I tried everything. My rings set to 4.

I reset the system to original setting also. and started from #101.
 
Use #505 to veify that the VMS extensions (78 and 79) are assigned to hunt group 7. those are the only two extensions that are to be programmed to hunt group 7.
 
i went to #505. I enter group 7. when I try entering 78 it would not allow it.
 
hit feature 57 (cant be in program mode)i think it is. What revision are you using?

ext 78 and 79 is for the voicemail card. Do you know what voicemail you are using? is it a card or a module?
 
yea sorry, its feature 59 been a bit since i have messed with partners
 
If your voicemail is a module, then your vm ports will be the last extension. So if your system supports 17 extensions, call ext 18 then 19 and so on until you hear welcome to partner mail. That will be one of the extensions to put in hunt group 7 on #505.
 
Feature 59 can only be used on Partner ACS or Endeavor systems. Just use any display phone on the system and press [ Feature ] [ 5 ] [ 9 ]. The display will show the type of system and release as indicated in the table below.
 
We really can't tell you ANYTHING until we know which Partner system you are using (Partner ACS, Partner Plus, Partner II), which VOICE MAIL system you are using (Partner Voice Messaging PC Card, Partner Messaging, Partner Mail VS, Partner Mail), and if it is anything OTHER than PC Card voice mail, what other modules you have in your system, and the order that the modules are installed.

i tried extensions, 10 is busy,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26 your call has been transferred tot he receptionist,27 nothing, 28 gives me a busy signal.
