I have a Solaris 8 machine as a firewall/gateway to a cable modem (hme0), with a Win2K machine attached on a private network to the sun box (hme1). I can ping the address for hme0 from the win2k box, but can not ping the default route that is on hme0. It appears that IP forwarding is not working ut I checked it's status with ndd and it is on. I have SunScreen Lite installed and changed its config to allow everything to pass through, still can not ping any machine outside of the private lan (192.168.0.X)
The sun box does come up as an IP4 router, but I can not get out of the sun box

Set up as follows (sorry for stupid gaphics)

{[W2K 192.168.0.2] <=> [hme1(192.168.0.1) <->Sol8 <->hme0 24.6.89.77] }<=> [internet gateway 24.6.89.1]

Any assistance is gratefull appriciated
