The message on my pc says: back up operation of the system programming can not be completed because a re-evaluation/auto-admin session is in progress. This happens if I remote in from the office or if I am on site and direct connect. The system went back to default and I used a dick that was from 2003 to restore the programming with. Has anyone come across this message, and does anyone know what I can do to fix this and restore my customers programming again. I can get into programming remotely as well, just no back up ability.

Thank You,
Tim

How exactly are you attempting to do the backup? Do you have the set tool or browser tool open while you're trying to initiate the back up?

I am using 11.0 software to do my back ups. I am using the Norstar ICS customer tool as well.

I know it is xc software, not positive of the release. Don't know if this helps. Let me know I will find out more information.

Sound like Companions are doing a re-eval? make sure the auto re-eval setting is turned off under scheduling maybe.

Thank you very much everyone. You were correct curlycord, I went into the companion and did a re-evaluation and after I did, I was able to get my system to back-up again.. Thanks again for all the help.
